Morgan Taylor Pass
Hey, my name is Morgan Taylor Pass and this is my portfolio. My name is Morgan Taylor Pass, and I will be graduating high school in 2013, and am currently in the course applications of therapeutic services, which has made me want to pursue a career in the medical field. I am very patient and observant with people, which could help in this field in the aspect of problems patients are not able to communicate to the person who provides initial care. In my future, I look forward to the further expansion of my education. I will attend college, and with the career course I choose, I will achieve attaining the highest level of education available for said career. I want to pursue this career because as a child I have always been marveled with the idea of surgery, but could never stomach the thought of someone’s life lying in my hand and one simple cut of the scalpel. With my fascination, I found that any career in this for me would have to be one that involves being in the operating room with out operating myself. The interest in which obtaining this career has come from is my love and skill in science and math, which plays an enormous role in any medical career. Nursing, physician, medical assistance, and many more things are all in the line of medical field. Most of these careers, including the one I have chosen, positions can be filled at any local hospital/trauma center. If a reference of mine were asked by an interviewer, things they may say about me could vary from my not so normal view of things, to my love of math and how easily it comes to me. The types of samples along with the career I intend to obtain vary anywhere from my healthcare class, to actual surgeons showing me how the operating room works. My healthcare teacher, Lori Fisher, provided many surgical videos, along with an actual guest speaker who was a therapeutic surgeon. Dr. King, the guest speaking, provided many model examples and photographs of surgery and the type of work he did. He especially peeked my interest in the operating room involvement. This example of work can be located in the Productivity Section on page…. I strive to obtain a career in the medical field, because it is something I have always loved. I want to be able to help people better there lives, and help in the process of saving them. While I was creating this portfolio, I learned a lot about myself. As I went through my past, I learned that I have always wanted to be something in the medical field. I realize now that the courses I have chosen to take in high school will help my future pursue in the career of anesthesiology.
